FriendsBook prioritizes absolute user sovereignty over personal data. To permanently delete your profile:

1. Log in to your account and click on your profile avatar → Settings.
2. Navigate to Account & Security → Terminate Account.
3. Enter your account password to confirm authorization.

What Happens Next: Your account is immediately deactivated and disconnected from feeds and messaging. Within 48 hours, our database purge workers permanently delete your profile records, uploaded photos, vertical Reels, stories, and relational friend links. This action cannot be reversed.

Unlike conventional social networks that monetize behavioral tracking, FriendsBook does not sell user data to advertising networks or data brokers.

• Zero Cross-Site Tracking: We never inject tracking pixels (such as third-party ad tags) into your sessions.
• Local Client State: Theme preferences (dark/light), recent search terms, and active tab states are cached locally inside your browser's localStorage rather than tracked on servers.
• Metadata Scrubbing: Image uploads are automatically stripped of embedded EXIF geographic coordinates before being written to disk.

If unauthorized access occurred on your account, follow this emergency restoration protocol immediately:

1. Send an urgent email to support@friendsbook.co.in from the original registration email address.
2. Subject format: Urgent: Account Restore Request - [Your Username]
3. Our security node will generate a signed, cryptographically verified recovery token and dispatch it to your inbox.
4. Use the recovery token inside the Incident Status Auditor on this page to terminate all active sessions across all devices and reset your credentials.

Accounts may be suspended for violations of our Community Guidelines, including:

• High-frequency automated spamming or bot loops exceeding rate thresholds.
• Targeted harassment, hate speech, or non-consensual media distribution.
• DMCA intellectual property infringement.

How to Appeal: If you believe your account was flagged by an automated misfire, email support@friendsbook.co.in with the subject Ban Appeal Request - [Your Username]. Every appeal is reviewed by an actual human moderation panel, and decisions are returned within 24 hours.

When users post YouTube links, FriendsBook embeds the content utilizing YouTube's official privacy-enhanced domain: https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/....

This stops YouTube from placing persistent advertising tracking cookies on your computer or device unless you explicitly click play. Additionally, our strict Content Security Policy (CSP) sandboxes the player iframe to prevent unauthorized script injections.
