FriendsBook Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to register for or use FriendsBook. Users between 13 and 18 years of age represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms. Providing a false date of birth (DOB) or circumventing age-verification constitutes a direct material breach of this agreement.

2. Account Registration, Passkeys & Security

When creating an account, you must provide accurate, current, and verifiable information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and session tokens. You agree not to sell, transfer, or share your account credentials with third parties. In the event of unauthorized access, you must notify our security team immediately via support@friendsbook.co.in.

4. Content Ownership & Intellectual Property

You retain all intellectual property ownership rights in the content (photos, videos, vertical Reels, text, and comments) that you submit to FriendsBook. By posting content, you grant AXIONIK and FriendsBook a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license strictly to store, transcode, cache, and display such content to authorized users in accordance with your chosen privacy settings. This license terminates automatically when your content or account is deleted.

5. Content Moderation & Ban Appeal Process

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines. If your account is suspended, you may file an appeal by emailing support@friendsbook.co.in with the subject Ban Appeal Request - [Your Username]. Every appeal is evaluated by an actual human moderation panel, and a final written determination is delivered within 24 hours.

6. Privacy & Data Handling Practices

Our data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. FriendsBook does not monetize personal user data through external ad brokers. When you initiate account termination, all associated personal records and media are irreversibly purged within 48 hours.

7. Third-Party Integrations & Embeds

Third-party media links (such as YouTube videos) run through privacy-enhanced embedding domains (youtube-nocookie.com) inside sandboxed containers to prevent external ad-tracking cookies. External websites linked on FriendsBook are governed by their own terms.

8. Service Modifications & Telemetry

We constantly refine features, media transcoders, and messaging protocols. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue components with advance notice when feasible, without liability to users.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

FriendsBook is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. AXIONIK and Founder Akshat Sharma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from user conduct, lost profits, or data loss.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction located in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material updates will be communicated through an in-app notice or via your registered email. Continued use of FriendsBook after revisions take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
